Flysky: FS GT3B Failsafe

Post by apadua » Mon Mar 04, 2013 11:47 pm

So I took my CB out for a run yesterday and ran it about 50 yards in distance and it went out of range. I am pretty sure it is b/c the batteries on my Radio is running low (10.2V).. I have run it further away before.

At this point, I did not have the fail safe configured so I had to my best Usain Bolt impression to get in back in range.

So I brought it home and configured the fail safe to Full Brake position.... Uh so I think. It only seems to work if the LAST action on the radio was throttle...

So for ex:

1.) Throttle= wheels spinning, turn off radio, failsafe is engaged and wheels stop/brake position :D

2.)Turn Left = wheels turn, Turn off radio, goes to full throttle
3.)Turn Right = wheels turn, Turn off radio, goes to full throttle
4.)Brake/Reverse = wheels spin in reverse, Turn off radio, goes to full throttle

Is this just the way it is??

I did the same thing with mine. You can't use fail safe for electric stuff only nitro cause it has a separate brake. I ran my emaxx up the wall when I turned my radio off with fail safe armed

Check out Justin's wraps, for all your body wrapping needs!
