Son of Tiamat build + The Cylon build

Talk about your custom made one-of-a-kind builds, and also off-beat R/C stuff that you just don't see everyday.

Holy cow that chromed body looks awesome!
The truck definitely looks a whole lot better with pictures taken outdoors. I was wondering when you were going to get some shots with better lighting :)
Its too bad you had a roll though :(
I wonder if repairing the chrome scratches will be easy... I've never used chrome paint before but can imagine that trying to match the damaged area would be a huge pain in the neck! The usual tricks with a rattle can like overspraying to cleanly blend might not work.

I couldnt tell in the photos but did you end up going with 6 wheel steering? If not i highly recommend it. The truck would be more nimble and terrifying for anything in its way, especially touring cars haha

You blaming that for the roll-over?
Seriously, truck looks to work very well, hope you didn't scratch it up too badly.

well, the stability has improved a lot because of the lowering
maybe i also wasnt a 100% happy with the look

anyway ,the damage to the chrome cabin is very very little,
only a tiny piece of the corner is damaged,
not even worth repairing, was lucky as hell

@weeb : yes offcourse its got 6 wheel steering :)
drives like a dream

WOWOWOW! I have been negligent in checking this thread and now i am kicking myself for it.
Awesome job! It brings me great joy to see another 6WD born and unleashed to the unsuspecting world :)
Maneuverability seems very, very good. Steering is crisp and reponsive. That tight turning radius should terrify anything else not to get too close.
I noticed a bit of body roll, it's something I had not encountered with my trucks but I suspect it's because I always ran with stiff springs and medium damper oils. The price I pay for doing that is a lack of response on the suspension, or an excessively plush ride.

The startup of each ESC is like music to my ears :)
