Andy's TRX-4 Bronco

Post by andymac0035 » Sat Sep 08, 2018 8:09 pm

I have been wanting one of these for a while, then the Bronco version came out... took a while but I got one! :)
....and as you can see... it didn't take me long to get it out on the trail and all broke in...

Great photos! I've really wanted one of these ever since the Bronco body version was released, too. I don't know if I'll ever own one though, :( , so I'll live vicariously through your thread.

I am super-impressed with it! I've added weight to the nose and down low just behind the wheels and also my high-mass boom racing wheels on with some cut super swampers. Have not taken pics of those mods yet. I still love the stock tires though, I just need to get them mounted on some beadlocks with some weight to them. The portals are awesome, but do raise center of gravity, so heavier wheels and weight in the right places helps this truck a lot. Here's pics from another outing. :)

It's funny, Andy. I looked at the first set of pictures and thought "Old Captain KABBBOOOOOOMMMM has really slowed down"...then I saw the snow pictures. LOL. Cool truck.

The TRX-4 is like cheating as fare as scalers are concerned, they just work so good

if you add the axle weights its a game changer

Thank you (both).

I'm not super into the whole scale thing.... I like it to look nice, but I'm more into the performance aspect of it.
I will say though.... it's put a hurtin' on how much I drive the SCX10 these days...

I've really wanted one of these since the release of the Bronco version. Looks like fun, and that's one fast crawler! :o

Finally got the crawlers out today! Changed up the wheels on both. I like how the stock center caps look with the axial wheels on the TRX4.
