well if you ever get the fever to spend some more cash i beleive there was a few nice chassis on the old forum for under 100 that will get that thing looking good!! :snakeman:

I'm a jr in high school and have 2ed year machine shop and I am milling my own chassis out of thick nylon and the cross braces are going to be carbon fiber and I made my own 4-link rods out of carbon fiber rods. I think I will be able to make my own axels too I just dont know out of what i'm thinking tool steel

fiber inpregnated delrin would work also,tool steel would be good, if you wanted light weight try some t6 alumi. good luck keep us posted

the class at monroe rocks we have CNC, vert mills, CNC vert mill, lathe and all the metal stock you could dream of just get in good with Mr.gorjeck and he pretty much lets you make what you want its sweet
