Congrats! Well first thing I would do is hack the nose off the front of the chassis! Then move my upper links to a better location.

Congrats!

I'm still debating between building my GP or selling it off....

When wifey meets the clods I'm sure she'll gladly help me with that decision :explosion:

While you are at it get some shorter upper link mounts. Links seem a little thin as well.

Well had some time and wrenched on clod. Moved lower links in so 13.5 wb, moved upper links on chassis, redid rear lockout to washer style , trimed crap outta upper link mounts and checked rest. Seems better now so link building and more braces next.

Thanks Jeff! Yes dropped cog and widened it, does look better Imo compared to og picture up top post... now the problem is stand offs between chassis plates wont loosen....either cut heads off and make all new ones or drive, chose to drive: )

That sucks they will not budge, but it looks perfect as is. After you drive it and your not happy, maybe revisit that problem...

The loctite they use on those screws for the crossmembers is absolutely insane. I had to use a map torch with a tiny nozzle to heat JUST the crossmember then I had to slot the screws and use a flat screwdriver to remove them. I can appreciate the peace of mind of tight hardware but that was overkill. If you ever remove them replace them. The remaining loctite in the crossmember will foul up the threads and make threading in new hardware a pain. Conversely, you could clean the threads with a tap but I'd rather know they were new.
