Mad Max Themed Clod

Post by Wookiee »

Hi Everyone,

If one of you take this idea and run with it then so be it, but after banging up my first clod body heaps and watching Mad Max Fury Road I came up with a brilliant idea  . Why not start making a Mad Max themed Clod (Beyond Thunder Dome comes to mind if you haven't seen the latest Mad Max {Road Warrior I think it was called in the States}).

So I've attached a few pics of what the Clod looks like at the moment. As you can see I've broken all of my roll bar spot lights and for those with a keen eye you'll also notice I've bent my 'A' pillar on the one side. Sooooooo, lets hear some ideas on how to Mad Max this truck up without making those parts/additions too breakable when i "bash" around the place!!

P.S. I also added a couple of naked shots to show my ESC, Receiver and additional battery setup made from some bent up aluminium I got from a workshop around the corner from where I work. Would like some slightly thinner aluminium to lighten the load or if I can find a place that does perspex I'll change out the setup with a lighter material.

The good thing is that I've got a spare Clod in a box so I've got spare parts to "Maxify" if needed

Is your 4-link the stock clod 4-link conversion from CPE? I like the way your clod sits.

Gator, they're the CPE 14" links :)

Cheers for the good pics Kong they'll be good to use as a reference. I'm sure there is a monster truck in Mad Max 2 or Thunder Dome, just can't seem to find any picture of it. Might have to watch the movies again
