My CPE Terminator

Post by CarolinaShortCourse »

Here is my new to me CPE Terminator. Running dual SV3's and 5700kv 4pole motors. It has aluminum axle tubes and knuckles on the front with plastic knuckles out back. It also has a set of aluminum wheels from Maximum Metal Racing on it. I haven't been able to find any information on them. I like them but they are heavy for a race clod so they will end up on the shelf more than likely...or for sale.

Also picked up a set of PL Giant Trac's on chrome clod wheels as well.

I have run a couple of packs through this rig and am surprised by how quick and nimble this truck is! I didn't expect it to get up and go and then whoa up and turn like it does. Needs a little suspension tweaking but that is all part of the fun!

That came out pretty darn good!
LOL... if you put aluminum gear cases on that it would really have that all-aluminum look to it.

I am wanting to race this rig and I am half tempted to go to plastic tubes for weight and would rather replace a tube versus a gear case lol
