...A few CPE parts but everything else bit by bit (even the screw bags, parts trees, and metal parts bags) from eBay. It probably will cost more than a kit but it's not the craziest thing I've done.) =D>

...etc., maybe with a trailer (which solves my 3-motor issue).

So, being a smart-Halgar's trucks are cooler than mine, I thought I had body mounts for the Bullhead. Nah...
Image
Tamiya, in it's infinite wisdom (and to accommodate the wider mounting spots on the Bullhead's fenders), created an arched mount. $16 bucks shot for the J parts tree.

And, after a closer look at the Bullhead's body, it needs a repaint --which means new decals for $9... Incremental creep, along with the radio tray.

And no. it's not going to be redone in red. In fact, Metallic Wine Red, Bright Mica Red Ferrari, and even Pastel Gray (so much for respraying my Bruiser) have all been discontinued.

It's not going to be blue...

It will probably end up Krylon Fusion Dark Burgandy... There's no accounting for taste.

You can also use Dupli Color automotive rattle cans. I used it on my own Clod body.

Just don't ever mix Krylon and Duplicolor unless you want a crinkle finish.

 Umm who said anything about mixing? Strip the red off with oven cleaner and then prime it and repaint it sir. You can even use brake fluid to remove the old paint.

Then again
if you want a 95 year old wrinkle looking Clod then I suggest mix different paints together.
