Welcome back. I basically just did the same thing myself a few months ago. Got out of the hobby for a good 15 years and then jumped back in with a clod build again that I'm working on, and collecting parts for a 2nd build before the first is even finished  I think I remember ya from here, I use to go by "maximumoverkill" back many years ago here but changed to my real name when I jumped back in a few months ago. Didn't you use to be active back when Shagrat and Aggy and all of us were active here, or am I thinking of someone else with a name similar to yours. I can't remember for sure, gettin' older sucks, memory is first to go lol
I hear the train a comin'; it's rollin' 'round the bend, And I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when.
I'm stuck at Folsom Prison and time keeps draggin' on.

I've been here since 1999/2000 when I bought my first truck. So many great people have come and gone and come back and gone again that it's easy to lose track. It's always nice to see familiar faces again. 8)

I think I remember you, lol. I had one of the first big power Clods on the forum.... JPS axles and 6700km Mamba systems and MaxAmps LiPo's, both when they first came out, lol.

Life took Bill in a different direction and recently turned the place over to Lowgear.

Yeah, he wanted to sell both sites to someone that's been active since the beginning, and knew how to do all the technical aspects of it. I was sort of nominated, and after pleading my case why I would be a good fit, we agreed on a price, and I got the job. That was a little over a year ago now, and I still have buyer's remorse. :P

BTW ClodTalk's anniversary is coming up soon. 15 years! 8)

I'm glad you took it over and didn't just let it fall by the roadside lowgear. CT has always been a good place to talk clods and it would have sucked for me to come back into the hobby and look up CT only to find it was no longer around. Glad it is still here.
