Thank you!! I kind of like the look of the bigger firestorm's but maybe on the black wheel.

That's a great looking truck! I really love that body and am looking forward to having the painting finished on mine (I don't like the process of body work - scale or 1:1). I just wish they'd have put an actual bumper on the rear, not just an outline.

So how does it handle? Are you only running one battery?

I find painting half the fun  , she still needs a little tuning.. shocks are a little soft. But all and all i think its a contender for racing. Yes im running a single 2s 7600 mAh 75c.

How is the speed on 2s? what are your motor temps after say 10 mins of run time? I just ordered 2 castle systems, 5700KV, I was planning to run 3s on a 13t pinion. For reference, I have been running the clod on EVX2/ titan 21T 550's on a 19t pinion 3s. It was to slow for my track, ran it 4s, it was about perfect, however motors would get to 190F in about 8 mins.

On 2s and 5700's it's controllable I haven't tried 3s... I think that will be standing backflip city. As far as temps at the 15min mark they where hot but you could hold them for a good 10 to 15 seconds before it got "to hot to hold". I'm running stock gearing so I do have room to play with gearing if I go for adjustable motor mounts.

Speaking of adjustable motor mount anybody have recommendations?

So i had my first brake happen on the truck today. I was at the local public track, came off a jump and over corrected causing the truck to nose dive straight to earth. I snapped my CPE BTA carbon fiber tie bar in half at one of the holes in the middle when this happened. Lucky for me when I ordered everything I got a extra one. So now I'm wondering what I can do to make this stronger or if there is another bar that I can get that will work with my cpe servo mount. I did put a kimbrough large servo saver on the truck before this happened.

First off, your truck is sweet! Love the build.
You can use different steering setups with the CPE servo mount. I started with a behind the axle setup and now run a link setup up front. Iv'e been running this for a while an it's taken some abuse!

I've been thinking of using the carbon bar and making one out of aluminium or using steel.

Thanks I'm in love with this truck, I'm still adjusting the 4link and it's hooking up better and better with the tires breaking in. I've thought about a gearing change but I'm happy where it's at right now. I'm sure if I started racing gearing would be a bigger factor. On a side note I found some thin steel at work. I'm going to make a new tie bar for the BTA or make a brace for the carbon fiber tie bar.
