Just realized I didn't have any pics posted of my clod........ :o

Nothin' fancy (yet), but I'm happy having a clod again.
Already have many scrapes in the chrome......

I want to put a ford truck body on my clod eventually, but since I already had this Firebird body I decided to see if I could make it fit. I think it looks good, but I havn't run it yet. First time I roll it may spell the end....but we shall see....I hope not, as it was a pain to get on there.

I like the TA body..Where did it come from? That would make a nice project to be put on a trailer and pulled behind with the Clod..I can see a TA with some fatties on the back and skinnies on the front with a brushless..

Thanks,

The body came off a Nikko R/C. The "muscle under glass" series I do believe. I need to take another pic because there's actually an "engine bay" under that hood (and it can still be opened). It came with 2 hoods, the other was clear, and I didn't like it.

My sister bought it for me a few years back. Seemed a shame, but I just wasn't using it. If I knew more about electronics......the nikko had lights and engine sounds too....

The T/A body is molded in white, so it's "hard" plastic I guess, but the original clod body appears to be harder.

WB is roughly 10.5" it's a tad shorter as you can see in the side shot above.

Oh, and here's what it looks like with the hood up.

Thanks, but it's no show piece. :D
I was out bashing today. Rolled it a few times (nothing serious though) and it's holding up okay so far. I really like how it looks much better with the T/A body on it.

I have no plans for the tamiya body, it's basically an emergency back up. The dirtpiles out back lead to a LOT of roll-over's (one is like 10-feet tall) and it would be pointless to paint it.

Eventually I want a Blackfoot (or similar) (ford) body on there.

Oh, I don't think I mentioned it....The nut's/bolts that held the original front bumper on, are now what holds the front chassis brace on (in place of the stock body mounts). As it turns out, the T/A body rests on them, so that helps support it in addition to the 4 screws holding it down.

Awesome shots and looks like a fun place for racing the Clod. That body looks super cool on their running around. I think I would have saved it for the shelf though. It must be hard to find...

Thanks! Glad you guys like my bashing playground.

I can understand why some of you might be surprised at me not making that a "show" body, but I'm a "show-and-go" type..... :D

My sister bought me the nikko T/A 3 or 4 years ago. I had been out of R/C for a long time, but she hadn't forgotten. I used it here-and-there but it had started to collect dust.......kind of a shame.....but I wanted to do something with it.

Here is what it looked like originally and a linky to more info on it:
