SFC K wrote:Nice! Sounds like you had some fun with it on 3S. How is our steering working for you? Is looks like the servo link is at an angle.
Yep it is now, since the only way I could currently link the suspension was by using the gearbox mounted upper link plates. The servo arm was hitting that plate so I had to grind it down a little and even move my steering link under the arm instead of over it (which was nice and straight before) I was worried it wouldn't work out well, but have a half dozen or so runs on it and all good so far!

The 2.2 wheels are RPM revolver, chrome, narrow, wide offset, crawler wheels in 12 mm hex (yeah that's a mouthful!). The tires are 2.2 RC4wd Hollow point and they fit the narrow wheels just right. I had the standard 2.2 RPM revolver wheels and it bulged the tires on the side in a bad way (too wide of rim). I am not sure if I am a big fan of the wide offset wheel because they do stick out a bit, but I rarely run these on the Cold, just think they look kind of cool on there! They are better suited for my SCX-10 when I put it into Mega Mud truck mode.

Still got this truck (more or less) and looking back it's changed quite a bit since those 1st page shots lol. Just picked up Brawlers for it.

Well its had a few iterations over the years and have to say I liked them all - nice to see it back to a more traditional boxart colour and loving the latest wheels

I love how you blacked out the chassis! It really changes the look of it from previous iterations and the new body color is looking sweet!

Good to here you fixed the servo link problem.

Me, too, man. Me, too.

I'm in the same boat. I want to purchase a new 2wd buggy, but I need some cash to spend. I know I'll regret selling any of my current fleet, so I'm stuck. Don't sell the Clod. Its a great looking truck! You'll figure out another way. And when you do, please let me know how you did it!
