Hey guys its been awhile since I posted here but I wanted to make sure I let everyone know about the 2010 I hobby expo in the Chicago. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2010 Ihobby expo will be upon us before we know it. The show is in october on the 21,22,23 and 24th and is being held at the Donald E. Stephens convention center in Rosemont, Illinois. This is just outside of the city of Chicago right next to the airport. Since 2006 the nrctpa has been given a chance to do rc monster truck demos at this event. This year will mark the 5th year of running at the event. The Ihobby expo is an excellent oppurtunity to get out and see the hobby from a different side. Four full days of all the track time that your truck can handle. Right now we are looking for volunteers to come out and do the demos through the course of the weekend. We will be running a side by side elimination racing as well as freestyle on all four days. I have a few you tube videos to link here to give you an idea if you dont know what its all about. We mainly run clobusters at the event but 4wd electric trucks of that sizing are welcome. There has also been talk of running the wheely king and ground pounder together in a sepearte class too. There is no charge for admission or entry fees but we do need it to be organized. You will need to contact myself or Darren from Thundertech racing for more info on the event.
