 cook the shrink on battery hallo
have use 16 cell 4200mah 40 amp rate discharge on brusless sistem agressive or 3/4 punch control
off the positive side the shrink melted and that cell is dead was that a bad cell or to low of C rated.

Re: cook the shrink on battery more than likley the cell/s couldnt keep up with the high demand and heated up and poof..nmh only has a good discharge for a short time..then the c rating drops and there is internal resistance that causes heat and too much heat will destroy the cell..lithium based batts are much better suited to high power brushless as they pretty much have a flat or constant dischare..meaning pretty much till you hit cutoff you will have the same amp available from start to finish instead of nmh were your power quickly drops

thank you It was a bed cell. I had the same problem. Was it a VENEOM battery. I took out the bad cell and now the battery is fine.

Re: cook the shrink on battery hallo no not venom that was TENERGY 4200 I did the same change the bad one and reshrink it and so far so good,ther battery sems ok only two bad cell out of two batch .but ther 8 AA charger broke it a 6AA no even 4 month old 12 to 15 charge out of it and gest what no more then 3 month warranty on ebay.

youre not talking abouth AA battery charger. 3 ternergy battery charge by tekin 112c if im correct......I use astroflight 112 1 to 36 cell ,duratrax ice and some hon kong that I cant read so far.

Re: cook the shrink on battery WHAT  Your lost. I had a Aristofligt and it died the first day I got it. I have 3 tekin chargers and they never failed me yet. This charger can charge any size nicad or nimh and even car batteries 1-12 cells ac.

It was a junky charger 112D. It wasn't worth fixing it for te waranty. I don't mess with warantying anything. It either works or its gone. I only give a Brand 1 chance withg me.
