I wanted to get a new motor for a Nitro Blizzard I recently picked up. It runs the GS11R motor and it has no Low Speed Needle to adjust. Any ideas on what will fit in a Nitro Blizzard?

Convert it to brushless! I would think a OS .15 motor would fit but not really sure.

Most engines around .12-.15 should fit. They all have a similar size crankcase. I'd say get the Hpi nitro star .15 or the OS. They are both very good reliable engines.

I have been thinking of converting my Nitro truck to brushless. I did a yahoo search and found a few cool ideas. The easiest way I saw to start is find some aluminum angle bracket (1 1/4") and drill the hole for the pinion and the mount screws. There are also a few mounts, if you check Tower, or Hobby People they are available.
That said, a cost-effective Nitro would be the O.S. cvx15. I have run several gallons through mine and it still runs great. It is easy to tune, stays tuned and is generally easy to maintain. I added an O'Donnell head to keep it cool (I'm sure that has added to its longevity). Not sure if the head on the Blizzard is exposed to air or not. If it is not open to the air, a larger cooling head would be a plus. Just checked Hobby People $115 for the O.S.
Another option, if you are looking for more performance would be the XTM .18. I am a huge fan of this engine. I no longer have the truck, but this was a super fast, easy to maintain engine.
