Sooooooo I've gone to the darkside..well sorta lol its not the T-word or the E-word so Haglar won't ban me lol

While i was at Diggers Dungeon met a cool friend who fell on love with my Clod Pounder..long story short he bought it from me and I kept the Digger body and my shaved tires. Digger will make his return very very soon lol

A guy on rcmt was selling a savage x barely used in great condition only did the breakin..the price was unbelievable, less than half the brand new price! so after seeing the nitros race at Diggers Dungeon I was hooked and had to get it..

Took it for a test run today and WOW! Awesome truck. Runs great no issues so far..can't wait to start upgrading lol..

Here's a few pics and a couple vids..

Great truck, a camera operator and a big field to run are great ideas.

Makes me want to dig out the Ten-T or the MGT 8.0 and go for a rip!

Good deal you got there. Get another video if you can.

My son is 6 and the last time I went out we were in the water while i was running it. I'm pretty sure he would have dropped the camera in the drink...lol

LOL..my next few vids will be better..got a new camera and a camera man lol..also I will be on a big open dirt track so I can really see what she can do...

Had sum trouble getting her started the past few days and I found out the stock glow igniter that comes with the truck is garbage and drains batteries fast. I have to pick up one that charges and I should be set..everything else seems to be working fine..I will upgrade the TX/RX to a Traxxas TQi or something else.

Also a new body is coming soon. Gonna do a Monster Jam body so I can take it to demos at MJ events this summer

That turns a lot sharper than my uncles did. I wonder if he did something to his that made it so bad?!?! His is the 5.9 or whatever it is. It's the bigger one. Takes a football field to turn a in a circle no matter what speed. Yours turns good. Looks like fun.

does anyone know if the savage uses 3.2 or 3.8 tires as stock?

Ran the savage a few more times then I couldn't get it started so I had to pick up a new glow igniter to replace the crappy one that comes with the savage, but i might have damaged the gears and/or the bearing in the roto start. When i tried to prime the motor, the fuel is struggling to make it thru the lines to the motor. Once it finally got there the motor just doesn't want to turn over. I'm getting a great glow from the glow plug. So I'm gonna take the motor out and check it out. The guy at the hobby store told me if I was excessively ttying to start it when i had the bad igniter that its more than likely the roto start. There is a race on july 12th I'm going to so hopefully I can get it fixed by then.

You vaper locked the motor. Take the glow plug out and dump out the fuel. turn the motor over a few times with out the glow plug, but watch out as some fuel might spray out. Replace the glow plug and It should turn over. What happens is to much fuel loads up in the motor and won't allow it to turn over. It will lock it up solid.

Its not that either, it turns, just not starting...

I vapor locked it before when the igniter went bad and had to dump the fuel from the motor, Got the new one and new plug and now when I try to prime the motor the fuel is just struggling up the line barely moving, the roto start is turning just not starting the motor. sounds like it wants to start but wont kick over. I noticed I have to hold the roto start at a weird angle to even get the fuel to move as slow as it is moving lol. It feels like its slipping as its turning.

Could it be the one way bearing is slipping?
