Thats the old forum, a few months of it any way. Woodstock posted some good topics in it. Id apreciate if somebody would transfer it....

If he uploaded images to that forum, please save them and re-upload them to this forum.

Also please give him credit. Thanks guys!

Most of the pics are a pain because they are uploaded, not linked. That means that I have to save them to my computer and then reload them with the thread. LOL

Ok guys, here ya go! viewtopic.php?t=4898

It's a bit of work, but it works ok. You have to save any pictures to your computer, then re-upload them when you post the messages.

This is the process in which I did it:

cut/pasted the entire thread into WordPerfect
edited the chaff
inserted the pics
saved the pics to hard drive
Uploaded the messages one by one to maintain continuity AND properly locate the pics
did final editing within Clodtalk

Since these are old threads and Woodstock hasn't been around, I've also locked the thread from further posts. If anyone chooses to tackle any of these old threads, this is a lot of work and once you post it to Clodtalk, notify one of the Mods to lock the thread.

The only other minor question is whether or not to sticky-post the topics to the top of the painting forum.

Bill, is there an easier way to do this?

I sent a message to Woodstock to see if he's still around. Hopefully he'll come back. If he does, then I'll unlock his threads.

Ok guys, I've captured all the threads started by Woodstock to edit and get reposted. If you guys want to look through the other threads for good info, please do so. I ask that for long threads like "Woodstocks Hints and Tips - Airbrushes and Guns", that you try to use the same layout as I did. For short ones like the Fading thread, multiple member posts into a single post is ok, but indicate the different posts by highlighting the poster in color (again, as I did in the fading thread. If you come across info that would best be posted in an existing thread, then let me know and I'll unlock the thread for you to do so. It would be nice to only have one thread for each topic, i.e. airbrushes go in airbrushes, techniques go into a techniques thread, FAQs... etc, etc.

Thanks
