Body Shells with wheelbase 13,xx''?

Post by The Knight » Thu Feb 18, 2016 8:52 pm

I'm searching for pickup monster trucks body shells (not painted, not holed) which have 13,xx'' or ~ 35cm wheelbase.
I know tamiya terra crusher, but this body have a big hole in back.

Do you know someone?

I just bought a Killerbody Rubik shell for my mod Clod - they do numerous versions from unpainted , semi painted, printed to fully painted. UK modelshop link but you can see the various designs ...

wheelbase is quoted at 325mm (12.8" in old money ;) ) but what appealed to me was the relatively narrow width of 175mm (6.9") which is pretty narrow compared to the usual suspects of the Pro-line truck shells, which being more 1/8th scale are often too wide for a narrow track Clod, forcing either a high mounted shell or axle wideners to get wheel clearance.

I've not had chance to try it on my carbon Terminator chassis but i'm hopeful it'll be near enough.

Parma have released a new 1/8 Body For F150 XLT 52cm long! This could be fit. But nowhere is written the size of wheelbase.
Parma havn't listed it on website.

When you say 13,XX, do you mean larger? XTM Mammoth-15" WB. I've used two and have another in the bag I haven't touched.

What i axectly need is 35cm wheelbase. 34cm would be also possible.

I do not find an pickup bodies in this size. But I have found a lot of 1/10 short course body shells which have 33,xx cm WB. Using this bodies will give the truck a look like Bigfoot #18. So I will try to find some useful short course bodiy shells. ;)

I suppose you could use a shorter body and open up the wheel wells. That way you can use the top apex and shift it front or back as you need to.
