Very cool. I've never done vac forming on my own, only through work. It is interesting and would be cool to try. I've got the equipment to do vacuum bagging for carbon fiber work. I've thought about using some if that equipment for this application.

Good luck, I hope it goes well for you.

I've always wanted to try that. Can you post a step by step procedure for it?

It looks pretty cool

Can I give you step by step? I don't think so. I U tubed the hell out of it over and over again! As far as the material used to make the buck, it was plaster of paris. I made a heat box and a vac table. I made two pulls so far with not too much success. Practice makes perfect! I will continue to try until I succeed. Failure is not an option! IF I CAN HELP IT!

Todd are you going to start reproducing bodies? That would be sweet if you could reproduce ones that aren't available anymore.

Wow Todd, a heck of set up you have there for doing it at home. I am going to keep an eye out for what you do.

Looks like you have got it very close to what you are trying to accomplish, Congrats man! Most of us would not even try... well.. You guys know what I mean.
