I use velcro on my tuber and the Pounder trucks and I've never had a problem..
If u use the heavy duty velcro it should hold fine..IMO

Velcro is a pain.... TryIng to get the body to line up and then if you have a custom paintjob it can potentially pull the paint.
I reverted back to body posts- simple and easy.

I find the velcro only works well for me on my crawler. Its actually saved my body since it allows it to flex when I roll over.

may not apply in this application but Ive become a fan of the horizontal body posts, they dont seem to break as much with hard rollovers and such and dont look as bad as sticking straight thru hood. I do run velcro when ever it suits the ride though.

The adhesive is super sticky and it stays put once it's joined together. I use it on our 2wd buggies and have never had a body come off. I used it on a Wheely King as well - worked like a charm.

Velcro is a must for scale projects. Anything else it is just a hassle. Plain and simple.
