I spent some time last night working on the build up.
I started by building fresh, new links.

I next pulled out my AR60s, removed the old links and installed the new links.

I then laid out the drivetrain next to the chassis to get a rough idea of the layout.

Lastly, I bolted up the axles and added some swaybars.

This thing is coming along nicely. I've noted a few changes I will be making and carrying into the final version.

Hmm, wonder what the shock setup will be?

The Max Max will have a couple of shock setups to give some flexibility in one design.

So are the shocks going to be mounted to the sway bar and the upper portion of the chassis laid back towards the center of the chassis like a cantilever set-up? I don't see how you will mount them to the lower links unless you get different links.

The bottom links shown are for reference only. They will be changing.

I've been pushing orders out, so I haven't had the time to wrench on this thing.

I finally got some late night free time tonight.

I chose to use ProLine Powerstrokes for this build.

I bolted up the shocks in the cantilever position. I am going to try this shock mounting first before trying the link mounted setup.

Mounted up some tires....

And lastly mocked up a body to get an idea of how it'll look.

=D> That's awesome. I feel like I need something like this in my life.

How come some of my smilies don't work? (This one works.) That first thing is supposed to be the clapping smiliy?!

I think you are on to something there. If that works as good as it looks, you may be about to re-set the standard on suspensions.

Thanks. I'm very curious to see how this performs. This is the first time I use these shocks and they feel pretty stiff. I need to play around with the shock setup.
