Battery Tray Ideas???

Post by FlashGordon1 » Fri Jul 26, 2013 12:51 am

 :-k Hello everyone. I've been doing some brain storming. Within this picture, this is hard plastic clip board that I got from Jim's Truck Stop! It took a beating for the years I was on the road!

I would like to use this item to make my battery trays. One for the front and one for the rear. To keep the weight down. Any ideas? Also I am going to make a templet first. And glue the parts together with shoo goo. And yes,I am going to two ply this to add strength! :-k

Go for it. You well never know what you can do unless you try. It should work I don't see why it wouldn't

I made a template out of graph paper and cut it out. What do everyone think of it so far?

I would like to thank you all for your comments. I just got word from the usps that my batteries is now within New York State. So far I do have one of the battery plates cut out. I will try to resume later.
