How to narrow a clod buster wheel (video)

Post by andymac0035 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 9:10 pm

A rather easy and simple way to narrow a clod buster wheel.
Also a great way to get a little extra tire clearance when 4-linking your stock clod.

These are also great for running Juggernaut II tires:

Well this is good to know.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming to the Lord,
"Wow, What a ride!"

No shiz! That is great! I used to pop the inner bead of the tire inside the inner lip on the wheel....but then you had to look at the wheel rim.

Gonna have to try this.
No space for shelf queens.....use it or loose it!

Andy, did you by chance try this on the super stock? I think this is an easy way to get better steering with the ladder bars.

No, but it would work.
I did however try the steering stop mod on the super-stocker with stock wheels and it worked.
By that I mean there is room for extra throw already.

PS, I have started restoring pics on the super-stocker thread.

I've already chopped the stops off. This looks like an easy way to get even more throw though, that is if the steering links clear ha.

Okay, i'll have to go back and give it a re read
