Yes. I guess you could call this an "old school" technique. Back before there was much for aftermarket links, it was common to use 4/40 all-thread and either aluminum tubing or brake line to cover the all-thread between the ball ends. Now, there are a number of links available, from CNC'd things to bent tubing. Most tubing now-a-days is tapped so that all-thread will screw into it and then the ball end attaches to the all-thread.dleigh007 wrote:Anyone here ever use break lines?

Yeah, I thought about using all thread and the break lines, but I think I may go with delrin instead.

my buddy did for his 2.2 crawler, a TLT. he used rod ends and all-thread and covered the all-thread with the brake line. basically you use the brake line to give the all-thread strength... seems to work well but can be a bit of a pain to get everything the same length...dleigh007 wrote:Anyone here ever use break lines?
