Sixty's Guy RC Collection

Post by Sixtys Guy » Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:01 pm

Thought I would post up some of the RC's that I have owned since getting back into the hobby 4 years ago.

1. Axial Wraith. This got me back into the hobby! But then I decided that I was all about MT's so I sold it to fund my TXT-2 purchase. I don't actually have many pics of it - I didn't really get into the Wraith too much.

2. Clod Buster #1. March 2017 Clodtalk Truck of the Month Winner I actually owned this truck in the mid 90's, swapped it to a mate and then bought it back off him 4 years ago! It has gone through a lot of changes! Still have it!

Pics of the Clod evolving over the years;

3. Redcat Ground Pounder. Worse RC I've ever owned! I had a lot of problems with this truck and spent a lot of money on it. Ended up pulling it apart and giving most of it away.

4. TXT-2 Agrios. Clodtalk July 2014 Truck of the Month Winner. Still have this truck! One of my favourite trucks, just because it has been so reliable. Still have it!

5. Juggernaut 2. Bought this to have as a shelf queen. Never ran it and then realised I'm not a shelf queen kind of guy lol, so sold it.

6. Marui Big Bear. Couldn't find any pics of this one. I bought this off ebay and it was in terrible condition - not what the seller advertised. Sold it off quick in an honest ebay sale.

8. Kyosho USA-1. I bought this one purely for nostalgic reasons. I got it up and running, kept it on the shelf and then sold it.

9. Stock Clod. Somewhere along the line I thought it would be cool to have a stock Clod. I bought this one in pretty bad condition off Ebay, got it up and running and it sat on the shelf for years, so I sold it.

12. TX-C. October 2014 Clodtalk Truck of The Month Winner. June 2014 RCMT Ride of the Month Winner. This is my favourite all time truck, mainly because it is the first truck that I custom built! It is a TXT-1 chassis with Clod axles. Still have it!

13. Tamiya Hornet. I can't find any pics of this, probably because I only owned it for a week! It was a rere that I bought 2nd hand off ebay. I ran it in the back yard once, was amazed at how poorly it handled, then sold it!

14. The Clod Factor. This was a truck I built out of an XTM X-Factor chassis and Clod axles. It looked cool, but I never really liked the truck. I ended up parting it out after 6 months or so.

15. TXT-1 #2. I loved the first one so much I bought a second! This was to be a shelf queen. I rebuilt it and sat it on the shelf. As with all of my shelf queens, i couldn't see the point and sold it.
