Nice trucks ALFY.....Love that Bruiser

BTW,Your Centurion is the limited edition reproduction that came out last year...the Original 50 Centurions came out many years ago and are impossible to find

I only know of 2 guys with 5 of the original 50...Hansolo and I
Yup!!!!....this is as good as it gets folks.

Don't sweat it Alfy. They only made 30 of the LTD versions. So, yours is actually even rarer. Although, the original is probably the most sought after Clod chassis ever made. I had an LTD for a bit, but sold it too. I think mine was actually a prototype.

Rubicon,Hansolo has that one and it too is a limited.

The original one is actually more rare due to the fact that it was raced by most and quite possibly ruined and lost/sold/broke or even destroyed by the owners back in the day

The LTD lost its charm when out of nowhere, everybody and their mother had a LTD and soon there after,HUA at RC4WD popped out over 20 LTDs on his web site....fishy if you ask me... ...IMHO, I think there was more like 100 LTDs made...but I could be wrong

That was the main reason I sold ALL Of my LTD's...I still have the first Centurion ever made and raced though...Darrens personal race truck....only one prototype was made and Thorbob has that one
Yup!!!!....this is as good as it gets folks.

So Can someone tell me exactly what kind of Centurion I have :?

Alfy
You have the LTD version, the second version. It is not the original version, which 50 were made. Your LTD version is one of 30 chassis made. The cantilevers and sway bars were all sold seperately. You could have bought one cant, two, one sway, two, or the whole cant sway package, or none at all. Those were optional parts. The biggest difference between yours and the original is like Aggy said earlier, yours has multiple link mounting holes in the center of the chassis. The original Centurion didn't have the multiple holes like that. I believe the LTD was made as a celebration of TTR's 5th anniversary. Hope this helps. If not, post it in the TTR forum, they'll tell you basically the same thing.

This is an OLD thread, that was rescued from the archives. It seemed best suited to go in the gallery after the re-organization. Posting of comments is not allowed in the gallery....BUT the above posts are very pertinant to the centurian chassis truck, and pre-date the gallery, so they will stay.....a grandfather clause if you will.

From here on out, the only person that should be posting in this thread is Alfy (aka Clodz_72_2003). If you have any questions about his trucks, please PM him.
