1/4 or large servos

Post by JandG » Fri Mar 21, 2014 11:52 am

I did a search and really didn't find much. Has anyone on here used large servos on a build

I know CC has built some beasts in the past and I am amazed that he uses 1/10 servos.

I am going to need large servos for my build. With the weight and kongs, i'll need a beast to turn it.

nope, you just need one good 1/10 servo, i run those huge rc4wd Interco super swampers on my summit and im just using dual servos, but you could just use a single 400 OZ servo wich would probly cost 100$ but itll turn those beasts with ease. i dont like the large scale servos, just too big and really not any more torque haha.

I did read somewhere that a good 400+ oz servo would turn a 15 LB RC with ease. I didn't see any comments on that statement, so I just thought it couldn't be legit. Thank you Gunder
