Traxxas waterproof receiver boxes?

Post by SWMS » Thu Jan 09, 2014 6:18 pm

So I'm putting back together me second KK-1 and I'm interested in a waterproof receiver box for me old Futaba Magnum Sport AM receiver. This truck is being built waterproof so I can play in water, mud, and snow. I already have brushed motors and waterproof ESC. This is the last piece of the puzzle.

So my question is, which box fits my receiver. I've been researching but I can't find my answer. Anyone here know?

Dimensions of your RX would help.
The box for the slash 2WD is one of the larger ones.

The axial scx10 one is fairly large and easy to get open closed. the wraith one sucks.

Another option might be the ARRMA rx boxes. I don't know thier exact dimensions, but they are good sized.

Andy, thanks for taking the time to find me another option.

I measured the receiver tonight and it measures 35mm x 47mm and 25mm in height.

You know you could also do a little home-made one too, using a small tupperwear container and making the lid the base.

I was thinking about that last night. I can also use the old trick of using a balloon.
