Traxxas TQI 2.4 radio setup

Post by Zac_F85 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 11:57 pm

I did a quick search and came up with nothing.. I need to reverse the direction of 1 servo on my clod for 4WS

I can't simply switch the connector around - it senses that and kills both Ch.1's all together..

HELP! I want to drive my clod before night fall!

EDIT - I have the intelligent radio that can use a Ipod or Iphone.. both of which I do not have..

I believe you have to use the program button on that radio to switch it. Look at the manuel. It should tell you how to switch it.

OK I finally found the manual on Traxxas.com!

Hopefully I can get this to work now!

Well looks like you can only reverse the channels together so I'm F'ed it seems unless anyone has any ideas?

i think your only option is a servo Y harness that will switch it automatically without the radio

Flip the servo arm upside down on the rear servo.

I'm not sure the CPE link is long enough for that..

Vertical servo mount?
If so....flip the whole servo.... it ought to be close.
Might have to un-thread the link-ends a little and add spacers (nuts/washers)

Y-harness does you no good unless it's one with a reverser built into it.
I don't hear good things about using those however.

And no, you can't reverse just 1 steering servo with that.
Some people have re-wired a servo though (but not me).

I just swapped the servo saver position and it works.. this truck hauls! it's WAY to torquey though haha need to turn the sensitivity of the throttle down a bit so it doesn't strip the gears I'll post pics tomorrow if it's not raining!

kinda! still can't get the sensitivity on the throttle to soften up but oh well it's a blast.. don't handle to well and was only able to use 4 shocks instead of the 8 I wanted.. none the less it's fun just have to easy into it as it's a lot snappier than my old 3903 Emaxx.. I can't wait to get the body done!
