As long as it does not make any metal contact you should be fine. You could probably tuck the antennae into the receiver box and it would be fine as is. I don't think you will be driving this one super far away from you...

Yeah, I hear you on the cost of receivers. It is ridiculous!

That area would make a nice spot for Andy to do his speed runs!

I thought about that also. at the end you have about a 12' wide patch of dirt so if you over shot it it would end up in the dirt. but if it didnt stop there its into a fence than

Sorry if I'm hijacking here.

I'm trying to wrap my head around these new fangled FASST/FHSS systems and now my head hurts. After reading some threads on the subject, the majority suggest using the FASST system for now. Can someone suggest which receiver would be a good alternative to the uber expensive Futaba brand if I wish to get a 2.4G 4ch FASST? How is Corona or FrSky? Also, which 4ch STICK radio would you recommend? Thanks!

Good question Tony. I picked up a FrSky reciever from HK but have not had a chance to try it yet with my FASST radio. I will try it this week and give an update. I too am trying to find an alterative to the FASST systems. I live Futaba radios but the dand recievers are so expensive. I have 5 now, and would need a couple more to get away from all the different radio systems I have to use. I alos bought a FHSS system too and the RX are cheaper but are not compatible with the FASST TR.
