Yep but don't turn it to much and keep track of which way and how much so you can go back. I always put a dab od white paint marker or sharpie so I know the starting point.

So i ran it with a new plug and it no longer stalls. Just gets real sluggish at a half tank

Sounds like its having a hard time sucking the fuel out check the seal on the tanks lid and make sure no tubes are bent

I would replace the fuel lines as it sounds like there's an air leak. I would also install an inline fuel filter as well. Then remove the carb and apply a small amount of silicone sealant around the base of the engine where the carb goes in. That'll help seal that up as well. Then read the manual to find the carb settings for each needle and make sure they are at those settings. Then try to run the car again and go from there.

I do it once per gallon. It unscrews in the middle. Pull the screen out and spray solvent then use compressed air to blow it clean it off.

More if the fuel is dirty. got a gallon that had some dirt in the bottom i didnt see it when i got it and they wouldnt take it back
