Thats a pretty good buggy you got your hands on there CC! Alot of guys take them and put a brushless conversion in them. If you like Nitro then I would leave it alone and bash it

I cant tell but below the header is there a spot for a roto start? I personally would get a bump box

It came with a bump box well thats what it said on the box. it takes 2 batterys they came with it. im new at this sort of thing the wire on the recever is cut so i need to get one and im having trouble getting the box to work. it spinns but when i press down on the car to start it the wheel stops moving or just spins on the starting wheel on the bottom . why cant it have a pullstarter

does the fly wheel on the car sit low enough for the bump box? As for a pull start the motor probably has a back plate on it. Post a pic of the back of the motor where the header is. If it has a spot for a rotor start that would be your second best bet if bump box isnt working on the chassis.

Bump boxes can be tricky at times and the car has to be in the sweet spot.

Yep the flywheel touches the wheel but its like there isnt enuff power to turn the motor im useing 3000 mah batterys. if i cant get it to work tomorrow im taking it to the lhs and see if they can do it. i dont see aspot for a roto start. but then again im not sure what im looking for .

Yeah you need a much bigger battery.

This is the rotor start back plate. I think thats what on yours now because you have a RTR edition.

You can get these two parts and put a pull start on it.

Yeah it will only turn to the left or right, I cant remember off the top of my head which way. One of the ways it should just spin and not turn over the motor and the other way the one way bearing will catch on the crank and turn the motor over

I used a drill on all of my Nitro's I had that were roto start, just for the fact a drill last longer than a 7.2v battery. If you have the drive rod for the roto start then you sould be golden or anything thing else that fits it :)

Wow! I totally missed this! When did CC get into Nitro? Yeah bud, did you get it going? Drill is the only way to start these.

I actually converted my RS4 over to Tiger drive as well. Just make sure you go the right way. You don't want to ruin the one way bearing.
