Deans Connectors on Clod Motors

Post by DiggerDude64 » Sun Mar 27, 2016 4:57 pm

I would like to use deans connectors on my Trinity Outlaw motors, and was windering how I should wire the rear motor so that it runs in reverse.

Id just put the positive wire on the negative side and negative on positive side on the deans for the motor. Then just solder the deans plug normal on esc like you usually would. Positive to positive negative to negative on the terminals

I am looking to put a male on the ESC, and a female on the motor so if I have to unplug the motor, I won't have to break out the soldering iron. So do I solder pos to neg on the motor Deans, and do the same on the motor? Or do I just do pos on neg on esc side, and regular on motor?

Actually, that didn't come out right. I am putting deans connectors on esc and motor. Do I just do pos to neg on the deans end on the motor, or do I do the same to the wire that connects to the motor?

Do like your are suppose to do on the esc male deans. Then just swap the wires for the motor on the female deans. So it would be red to black and black to red.

it doesn't really matter. Use the deans plug marking for the + and - on the esc side, and connect up the motors on other side however it takes to get them to run the right rotation. you could make the motor wires on that side all the same color and wire them up to run properly. If you have the esc plugs wired the same, it won't matter which one is plugged in where.
