Traxxas Titan motor ID?

Post by SFC K » Tue Dec 22, 2015 11:56 pm

Question for all you Traxxas Titan motor experts. I picked up a pair of older Titan motors on FB and asked specifically for one that is forward rotation and one that has reverse from an E-Revo #3975 and #3975R. Made the deal and it was rather quick, did not really take a good look at what I got.

Needless to say, get them home and they are the older Traxxas motors (Say 14Volt on them) from a E-Maxx is my guess. The newer ones are from my Mini E-Revo.

Anyone know what model these are from and is one of them Reversed? I thought they said Reverse on them if they were in fact reverse rotation. I need these for my Clod build and if they will not work, these will not be used.

Motors on the left are forward rotation 21T motors. These are indeed used on the e-maxx, and are the same one used for the FORWARD rotation on the big e-revo.

Motors on the right are 12T, and like all 12T's... are forward rotation.

The reverse rotation motor you need is usually in plentiful supply on ebay.

ALL monster (and marine) motors sat 14.4v, so don't worry about that.

Just put "reverse titan" into the search on ebay and watch them all come up...

Thanks Andy, I did see a plethora of them on the bay. I just wanted to make sure.
