Post by Skinner » Tue Jan 13, 2015 10:55 pm

Ok searched and not what looking for..what's the latest group of no motor limit esc's on market nowdays for brushed ? I knowsidewinder is one and also wonder if can power twin 550 cans? Thought about sidewinder on twin emaxx motors for my clod. Ideas?

In addition to the mamba max pro, the mamba monster is even more powerful and also has no brushed motor limits. Most brushless esc's these days are dropping brushed mode, but castle is not, there may be other's, but I'm not familiar with them.

If waterproof is not a concern, I would go mamba max pro, if it is a concern, then the Mamba monster 2 is waterproof.

The EVX-2 is my go-to brushed-only esc, but it does have motor limits.

Need to add that the Sidewinder does have I think a 19 turn limit in reverse mode. There is no limit in high power forward only mode.

Unless you want faster than two 10 turns, Andy makes a good suggestion on the EVX2.

Holmes hobbies BRXL is another option. More expensive, but you can tune it with a Castle link.

Vxl3s has no motor limit. Can only take 3s though.
