Get us a good photo of it please

Gotta figure out how I'm gonna mount this body. Got some long body posts for the front, that back should be pretty easy... Hate to drill the body though.

You could make a bracket that bolts to the back of the cab that spans between the frame rails and use body post clips for quick release method. The front will be a challenge but could do something like I did for my CC-01 build with a hard body. The back bracket idea should hold it really well. Mine on my CC-01 build does really well with staying put. This will alleviate you from drilling holes in the hood.

Something like this for the rear.

That would work. Are you going to be able to pin the body from the inside? I think for ease if there is no room, have to the posts protrude out the back of the cab, maybe?

Ya the way I have it mocked up there, I would pin it behind the cab. Don't think that would be too bad.

I see now. they are facing to the rear. Yeah that would work perfect I think.

Motors came in today, 35T RC4WDs for now. ESC will be here tomorrow. Also flipped the hubs to gain clearance on the CPE servo mounts, and adjusted the angle of the drag links a bit.

Gotta glue the tires, and should be able to get some driving in by this weekend!

And.... It's completely AMAZING! Really fun to drive! Need to make a couple small steering adjustments in the rear, and there's a slight ticking sound from the front gearbox, but only in reverse, or when braking. It steers really really good, very impressed, can almost do donuts. The 35T motors are perfect with a 3s lipo, and the brxl ESC barely gets warm. Also, for $20 a pop, these solar servos are so nice at 7.4 volts.

Saw some diamond plate sheets at the Lowes, gonna pick some up and put it to the metal brake to make a nice flatbed hauler for my Axial Wraith. Eventually I plan on some linear servo actuators to raise and lower the bed, but I gotta think that through a bit...

On to mounting the CXT body!

Still got a bit of trimming to do on the front. But I think it turned out well.

Looks great! Are the very rear links shorter than the front and middle links?

Yes. They are a bit more than half the length.
