Savox Servos

getting close to the next step in the project and lookin into electronics.... there are alot of different ones out there but i think id like to go with these guys for the servos. look like good high quality stuff... but which ones have you guys had the best luck out of and do you need to run a BEC with it? thanks in advance!

I only run Savox on on truck as they are expensive and I like to play in mud too much, but I believe it is the 1258. I run it on my Barbarian chassis truck with AR60s and for 166 oz/in it does great, truck is 2WS also. Best part about the servo is the speed, its very quick.

I don't run a BEC with it, but not sure about that if you are running two with 4WS.

I run a 1258 in my 2wd racing buggy. I think a lot of MT guys run the 1256 which is the high torque version. There is also the 0231 which is waterproof and quite a bit cheaper than most Savox servos. I haven't heard any feedback on these, but being waterproof and relatively high torque I would assume they would work fine.

444 ounch/inch! I reckon that would need an external BEC.
