Dubbl-A's SMT10

Post by dubbl-a » Thu Jul 20, 2017 7:41 pm

This is my "Green SMT10 thats NOT going to be a Grave Digger" build... :)

I wanted to try out one of these great looking chassis so I picked up a frame and links off of eBay. I have a lot of the goodies to get things rolling already laying around so I'm hoping to keep this a simple, budget minded build.

First impressions are all smiles from me! This chassis is oozing coolness. Let the fun begin!

Spent way too much time fitting up the E-Revo drives shafts but it was well worth it. (not a bolt in affair...)
Very light and strong and look right at home in this chassis.

Had an old beat up set of Proline Brawlers and hit them with the only can of florescent green the hardware store had. Also, I tried out the new Jconcepts Firestorm tires for the first time. These things a a bit bigger than I thought! Check out how it makes my Renegades blush a little!

Thanks guys!
I think I'm going to try a body thats just a truck cab so I can have the whole rear of the tube frame exposed.
Like the the bodies for a Honcho. We'll see!
