While I'm waiting for my hilux shapeways parts, I'm trying to decide which tires to go with.

Pro-line BFG Krawlers
Pro-line Hyrax

Had time to do a few things last night.

Got started with the Boom Racing 313mm Extension links.

Encountered an issue with the Boom Racing steering links...

The links hit the Axle cover at both ends of the steering angle. This restricts the steering angle a few degrees less than the stock links. It's more an issue with the rod-ends used. They aren't offset enough. I'll need to look for some M4 sized rod-ends with more off-set.

Anyway... the rear links installed.

Got my Knights Customs roll bar in, but I'm not sure how I'll mount it yet. I'll need to strengthen the holes to not have the screws grind away at it. Maybe fill the holes with something or find a way to glue something to use body pins.

Also started prep work on the bed so that I can spray it with plasti dip as a bedliner.

Also mounted my alloy beadlock wheels and Pro-Line Racing Hyrax 1.9 G8 Rock Terrain Truck Tires onto the truck.

This is what happens when you wait too long for some parts..... you end up ordering more parts.

Bought the MST Steel driveshaft kits and just got them in.

MST CFX-W Steel drive shaft [210571]
MST CFX-W Steel drive shaft set 99-119mm [210569] x 2

So... right now this build is being held up by getting the finish of these 3D printed parts right. I've wetsanded and clear coated, but I can't seem to get the cloudiness out of the clear parts. Anyone got any suggestions?
