For my 4th truck the selection was what you call very easy to decide on my behalf. I've been eyeing the CPE Ares for quite some time, just needed to work the funds up for it. I don't have the truck completely running yet, esc needs to be installed and I bought everything I needed except a dang receiver!!
So now I'm looking into the off brand Spektrum ones from hobby king. Or just use my flysky radio, haven't decided yet. But I do like the idea of having all my trucks on my dx4c since it's so easy to navigate. Anyway for the axles I went with the axial ar60 OCP front axles. Front axle has ujoints instead of dog bones, allowing for better turning radius and no binding. For shocks the choice was obvious there for me, went with the TLR scte 10 front shocks. Man do I love these shocks!!! Of course like all of my trucks I went with the castle 5700kv combo. I was going to wait for the sensored systems from castle but wasn't sure how long that would be until they came out. Slapped some all steel gears in the transmission along with Junfac carbon steel drive shafts.
This truck sits pretty! I have tires on it now but haven't taken any photos yet with them on.
