Made some more progress on the body.
Went simple on this one but it came out pretty cool. Took a gamble on the metallic purple but Tamiya color never disappoints! The metallic looks awesome. Some of my masking started to lift in the cold weather outside when I was painting

so some of the lines aren't to my liking but I'll live with it.

That came out pretty good!
I like how you have the esc right in the open like that. Should be good for keeping it's cool.

Thanks.
I like it so far. I'll probably put some of the decals on it and leave it be. On 3s power, it wont look good for long...
I actually didn't think about opening the bed up until i received the body and started playing around. Should work nicely!

Yes, the KK-2 is a work of art! Don't worry though, CPE makes some great stuff too!
I'd like to get some video soon. It looks so cool and realistic running without a body on!

Hey Justin...
Just as the KK-2 is a work of art, so are these!

You know it!
These are massive compared to AR60's.
I just started working on the front axle last nite and have and one axle cut and installed. Very cool. It''s going to be a bit of a slow build as I'm doing a lot of house work and my RC time takes a hit.

Some more work done on the Freestyle Axles.
Ended up going a little narrower on the width and kept it about the same as my AR60's w/17mm+ Brawlers. The rear axle is complete with lock outs installed. I used the leftover steering link as a tie bar for added support...and it just looks cool.
Also, an assembled Freestyle axle doubles as a club for self defense during a Zombie attack or if someone tries to snatch your Lipo pack.

Dayum! Can't help but be impressed with how this keeps on developing.
