FYI, the small plates are intended for ESC and receiver mounting.

Here you go! Not that exciting but like I say cant do much until I have NIB Clod. X members and battery tray installed with a bit of red Tamiya thread lock.

Will have to get with the times and get myself a lipo battery old school nihm battery does not fit between esc tray and battery tray.

Unless I have battery tray mounted wrong way which is highly unlikely!

Looking forward to seeing this build! Some nice features in that kit, especially the rear lock out. BTW, where did you get this kit from?

Thanks Jeff. I got the kit off ZRP Racing they have a facebook page you can check out. They sell the servo mount kits and rear lock outs separately if you are interested.

Only ten have been made there will be a second batch sometime in the near future. Might stick full TXT-2 trans in the chassis plates (no not a joke) not sure what I am doing yet.

Ok so this happened... this thread needs moving to the shaft driven section  guys I need to buy a complete set of TXT-1, TXT-2 or Jugg 2 center gearbox and axles.

Anyone get a set they will part with?

Otherwise I will have to go down the NIB TXT-2 route which will cost me big style.

Tried for several weeks to get hold of a used set of TXT-1/2 axles and gearbox but no joy so... got hold of the cheapest TXT-2 NIB I could find on the entire planet 391 dollars posted.

Bought off a hobby shop in good old Germany now that the TXT-2 is long discontinued I notice the cheapest from Japan is 721 dollars (without postage!)

What is cool is that it is still shrink wrapped and appears to be the first batch that they released in 2013 as it has " bonus parts included " sticker on the box.

Have not opened it yet!

Also came in the post today custom made chassis bracing by CPE 102mm long seven in total. Time to start building!

Nice one! I didn't realise the TXT-2 was discontinued already. Didn't last long.
