Wow, that's a cool looking trans. By the way, in the garage picture what's with the milk crate next to the truck? Is that a step stool, or a temporary driver's seat?? :?:

i think its going to look awesome in a tube chassis. if it hold up well the next rock buggy/truck/truggy thing i make ill put one in it too.

and it was a step stool lol that truck had race buckets and 5 point harnesses before i got rid of it. no milk crate seats in there lol

That tranny is cool! Do we have any pics of it mounted to a tuber chassis? What are the dimensions of the mounting hardware at the bottom? Wonder of it is the same as the wraith tranny etc?

progress is slow but still trying to make final decisions. picked up that short course body and is flipping HUGE, i just don't know whether to use a smaller body and just deal with the crazy axle width or to use a different axle all together....i just really like them digger axles.

Very nice mate, it's going to look great. The Freestyle RC Transmission looks great, I thought about it for my Boyer build but decided against it as it looked too tall for my needs. I plan to install a floor pan & racer's seat etc for a scale look, and feel the Freestyle RC Transmission will sit too high for me to do that.

Have you made a decision about what frame design you want John to make?

Going to have him do a Dan Patrick chassis. Should look really good with all these things. I think the Trans will work good even with a cockpit for the truck.

Everythings boxed up and on it's way to John! will be getting parts while waiting. not sure on ESC or motor yet all these new combos idk whats the best for an MT.... same thing with receiver. know what tires and rims i'm going to get first and have to wait for axles to come out.

I would say that Castle is your best bet. I have the SCT SV2 4600kv version in my Barbarian and I have already snapped an output shaft on the main diff gear. Replaced it with Robinson racing heavy duty diff and all is good now. With that tranny you have, I don't think you will have to worry about it.

I really don't have any experience with their other versions so some of the guys here will have to chime in. The Mambas I have heard are nice as well.

Do you think one of there combos would work just fine? I plan on building another truck to race and bash. I'm gonna run this one but not beat the Tarnation out of it.
