Snow!

Had a fresh dump of 5-6in of wet, heavy snow so I gave it a go. As you can see in the video, wheel spin was key to try and stay somewhat 'floating' to get through the snow. At a few parts in the vid you can see the wraith kind of bouncing up and down at full throttle, fighting the heavy snow. The next snow Im thinking I may try a 3s pack to get even more wheel spin and see how I do.

I think the bouncing was helping you get through the snow better. Cool video though!

Very cool video! Man that thing looks fun to drive, it has to make you smile every time you grab the throttle.

Looks like a lot of fun.

If all your running area is that size I don't think 3S will help, you really got to get out in the open, if you have space like that, then yes, 3S would be a huge help, or at least that was my experience.

One other thing I've noticed over the years is that mid-20's wheel speed is a killer. Mid-to-upper teens is good and gives the tires a chance to pack as well as fling the snow. Mid 30's will let you turn you truck into a skimmer that jets across the top.

Thanks for watching!
Yes, it is a blast to drive around and does bring a smile to the face. :)
I think I have it setup pretty well now to handle the brushless power w/ clod tires but I think my stock wraith shocks are at their limit. But i'm not in any hurry to swap them out...

BTW: More snow is coming tonight!

I see what your saying about the running area size. The land on other side of my house is much larger and flat (few trees... ) so I will take your advise and try 3s in the larger areas and get a good run at it. This will be exciting as I never ran a 3s pack through the wraith and I always seem to break things when I add a third cell in any other RC application...
