All credit for paintjob goes to Jon Miller of RCS Graphic Worx (based in UK) nice guy and has done a fantastic job for me very happy. I am a big fan of un cluttered paintjobs. Less is more

Driveshafts are courtesy of RC4WD Punisher Shaft II (4.72" - 5.90")

That looks fantastic! I like the simplicity of it as well! Finish it up so we can see the final vision!

My paintjob was inspired by the 1:1 Grim Reaper monster truck which started its life in America and now resides in the UK. Hard to show on my photos but the Grim Reaper text fades from dark yellow to white like the real truck has faded text.

Big Pete also started its life in America and now is owned and operated by same team as Grim Reaper in the UK. It is highly likely that Tamiya based the Bullhead on Big Pete.

No prizes for guessing what my next custom build will be then

Grim Reaper is still work in progress so more update/ pictures to come soon guys.

One word WOW! I love the subtle paintjob very up my street plus beautiful chassis looks spot on. Interesting I did not realise you can buy custom decals based on real trucks I will check vinyl 7 out. Though this time I would like to invent my own monster truck name one that has never been used before on a 1:1 truck.

GRAVETXT-1, this is a nice build.

I don't see any triangulating links, both sets go straight.... :?
There was too much side-to-side movement, indeed. I triangulated my lower links with a skid plate at the chassis. Most guys triangulated their upper links at the chassis with spacers and threaded rod. Nowadays they do the TXT conversion.

@ Supreme Reign and silverbullet24 thanks guys :)

@ bigman009 the paintjob and Grim Reaper decals were done by Jon Miller of RCS Graphic Worx (based in the UK) all decals are custom made by Jon to my design.

Amazingly each letter on the doors is individually cut out then placed into position Jon must have the sharpest knife on the planet. Imagine the skill and patience required to cut around those TINY yellow and orange drips! How Jon managed to cut out the holes in the R and A I have no idea! Quality of workmanship is outstanding has to be seen to be believed photographs do not do it justice.

Grim Reaper is now 100% finished! Swapped the tinted window for a clear window I bought off ebay looks much better. Also installed high lift grill and bumper as the chrome effect is much darker looks better as well.

Decided on RC4WD B&H tyres and safe to say I am very happy they give the truck the aggressive look I was after.

Doesn't half shift with sport tuned motors quite surprised really! Hope you have enjoyed the build with me if I can get the money together a Bullhead build is on the cards :)
