Polished the Sand Scorcher a little bit (PICS)

Post by jwrape » Wed May 24, 2006 6:14 pm

Some of you might remember I got a Scorcher and some other Radio Shack toys in a lot on Ebay for hardly nothing. Well I just had some time the other day to clean it up with some polish. Check out the pics.

After and before pics.

I plan on polishing the entire thing if I can. All shiny by the time I am finished.
I did find that 2 of my shocks are leaking and all of the rubber grommets are dried.
Does anyone know where to get rebuild parts for them?

Thanks! I am hoping to polish what's there and then start on a aluminum rail frame for it.

I don't know J...I bought it like this, can't take credit for that.. It did belong to a member here. I don't remember who. I do know that I can polish 3-speed parts about 90% with a dremel and various polishing wheels.

Cool that's what I thought.
The rest of mine might have to wait until I move before I polish them out. :D
