Cool buggy!
I`d solder the wires directly to the motor though, on a system like that.
How does the drivetrain feel, is it "free"?

I just got the universal shafts today from japan in 3 days. The part # is 53791 . They are for the DF-02 . I installed them in the frount and rear. After one battery pack they work real good. Before I lost two driveshafts in one run.

You can order them from here http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_i ... s_id=11704

Why are your stock driveshafts coming out? Because I have been bashing with mine for a week and haven't had that problem yet. :?

Is it because of your brushless you have in there? I am only running a monster stock pro in mine.

It happen when it was in the air and landing after a jump . With universal shafts it acts like it got more power coming out of turns now. I think it is money well spent.

you may be over geared at 9.20:1. what system are you running? novak likes theirs to be 12.5:1-13.1:1 for 4wd and their brushless.

in my BJ 4 i am running a 78 with a 16 with the novak 4.5. i run out of straights pretty quick at my track. the dark impact looks to be more of a basher than a racer but i would gear it down a tad if i were you. even just to prolong your motor life. mine got pretty hot with a 17t but not hot enough to thermal.
