It all started with this and no ground clearance. At least it's 4WD!

Swapped out the pathetic plastic diff gears for DF-02 metal ones.

They're really tough but be prepared to shim and bush things, there's a lot of sloppy joints.

Now the new shocks have arrived I can start fiddling with the ride and body height properly. This is a template for the shock towers.

As it's a buggy base, I'll need to engineer as much suspension movement as possible.
