1/16th E-Revo

Although not considered a traditional monster truck, they still have monster coolness.

Sweeeet set up! Any vid? As much as I hate winter, the fun of running in the snow is fantastic.

I just sent Kredfearn a PM asking where he has been, I was reading an older thread and he had some really great shots of some winter running.

Looks like you need to get some traxxas 2.2's for those tires.

I think your right. These rims are about shot.

Nice Dave! Sorry, no videos this time, and no pictures either. :( It was a spur of the moment thing.

You could try putting the nuts on backwards too if there is enough thread, but like Andy said I think blue thread lock is your best bet, seems to really hold on smaller bolts.

It's been a while since I posted on this. I have been picking up upgrades for this off and on now for a while. I started tearing the whole truck apart. Upgrades will be CVD's, RPM arms, Traxxas aluminum links both steering and push rods, and aluminum steering post if I can find one.

Taking this apart apart so far has been tedious so far. The places dirt and rocks get into on this thing is beyond me. I will post pictures of the tear down process tonight.

It's finally all back together now. Going to get it out tomorrow and possibly a video too. ;)

I added some old 1:1 windshield stickers I had laying around to the bottom of the T-bone chassis plate to try and protect the screws. They were getting in bad shape.

Took the MERV out yesterday. Ran great, but now it does not wheelie as much as it did before. It would pull the front wheels off the ground just slightly but then the front end would drop down and scoot. I like it and did not roll it one time. This thing is dialed now.

Sorry, no videos. I was to busy having fun... #-o

Well, I finally broke the MERV. The servo went south. It figures this would happen after I get it all back together.

I bought the parts, but I have not taken it apart to swap the gears out. Really, I have not done a whole lot of actually running of RC's this year. Been tinkering here and there but not much driving them.

Started tearing the MERV apart last night. Now I know why I put it off for so long. Well see if these gears will hold up in the servo. May have to just upgrade to a Hitek one.

Unfortunately I will be traveling out to Ft. McCoy, WI tomorrow for the weekend so I will not be able to finish putting it back together until next week. Two weekends in a row for me... :(
