new traxxas shocks... how to keep from bottoming out

Post by l300lover » Mon Aug 07, 2017 6:04 pm

so I have shocks that andymac recommended for my super clod. the only problem is even if I cut a hole for the shocks to get full range of motion wont the chassis bottom out? does anyone have a picture of what I'm supposed to do? I am absolutely lost as to how this can work.
thanks for your time guys!

Once you have everything installed, just move the suspension around and see where you need to cut the chassis for clearance.

Not sure what you mean as far as bottoming out. Are you using these on a stock chassis and where is it hitting?
